In order to receive calls from an offender, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) requires that you register and meet the following requirements:

1. The owner of the telephone must be listed on the Offender's Visitor List.
2. The name on the Offender's Visitor List must match the name on the registrant's driver's license or state identification card and the name on the telephone service bill/listing.
3. You must agree to the following conditions:
   
   
   • You are the registered owner of the phone that will receive calls from the offender
   • You will allow offender calls to this phone
   • The phone is not a cell phone (For security reasons calls to cell phones are not allowed.)
   • You are at least 18 years old
   • You will not forward calls or make 3-way calls received from the offender

(requires Driver's License or other State ID number, offender's TDCJ Number
and you must call from the phone number you are registering.)
